What do you do when everything fails?
Do you keep on going,prayin life prevails?

Do you sit down and try not to cry,
Do you start crying out to God asking why?

Do we just stand there,to whine,complain,
And gripe?
Why can't I make anything out of my life?
Do we pull ourselves up when life has us
Down?
Do we just try to laugh when life makes us
Frown?

For these are the questions I must ask
Myself,everytime I try to relieve the stress.
Then I just keep on going,
Pushing for best.

Butterfly Back when princesses lived in castles,

And when they always married the prince.

Dragons threatened livelyhood,

Knights in shining armor saved the village,

Always ending happily...

But now,thats just not how it is.

I tremble with fear at the thought of darkness,

Lonelyness scares me more than anything,

And When I try to make it go away,

The monsters keep reappearing,

Taunting me and teasing,

Nothing wants to turn out right,

I find this so displeasing.

Sometimes,I wish I was a butterfly,

Just so I could fly away,

High enough to be safe,

And still close enough to watch,

The Way Things Are It took me a long time,to see how things worked,

To understand the fine points,

To try and not get hurt.

Today, I learned another lesson,

It doesn't pay to care,

But even though they are mad at me now,

I still have to be there.

They say I'm just a rat,

A tattle tale and spoiler,

Excuse me for caring how people feel,

And trying to be nice,

I'd rather be a friend to her,

Even if I have to catch your stare as mean as ice.

You can't expect me to lie for you,

That isn't how friendships work...

I always end up in the middle,

And Im always the one YOU hurt...

Change Of Plans Things were going too smoothly back then,

Life was a warm sunny day,

Never suspected a sudden jolt,

Never thought I would change my plans.

Never thought God ,would change His demands.

Yesterday seems so far away,

It's only a faint memory.

The lacking vibrance of my old self,

Is barely even there.

All I remember is that there was light,

Followed by a tsunami later,

I had to pick up the left over pieces of life,

And keep moving forward again.

I felt lost,

I was totally confused,

I wasn't exactly sure which road to take,

And I didn't really have all the time in the world,
